Re Training Institute for Chinese Nurses and

Midwives.

I have the honour to forward you herewith a petition to His Excellency the Governor, signed by the Revd. Herbert Richmond Wells, Dr. Robert Maclean Gibson, the Honour- -able Dr. Ho Kai and myself, praying for the grant of a piece of Crown Land at the back of the Ho Miu Ling Hospital for the erection of the above Institute, also two plans and a Memorandum re pupil midwives signed by the Medical Superintendent of the Alice Memorial Maternity Hospital.

I shall be glad if you will kindly submit the same for His Excellency's kind consideration.
